Our Programs

Laying the foundation for a global fellowship

Fundraising and Resource Development

Building presence and structure

Every great movement begins with structure. We must establish a clear vision, trusted partnerships, and the resources to sustain the work. In this early phase of IFBAA’s growth, our focus is on building the financial and institutional foundation that will allow our programs to thrive across borders. Through collective fundraising, partnerships, and community investment, we are turning vision into infrastructure.

Economic empowerment begins with resource independence. IFBAA’s first major initiative is the launch of the African Redemption Fund, a global fundraising and grantmaking platform designed to support projects that uplift people of African descent at home and abroad. This fund will channel resources toward education, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, and community renewal and ensure that we are not waiting for others to invest in our future.

In tandem, we are pursuing institutional partnerships with organizations that share our values of unity, equity, and cultural sovereignty. These alliances help us leverage expertise, expand reach, and bring visibility to issues affecting Black communities worldwide. By combining grassroots support with strategic collaboration, we are creating a financial ecosystem that can sustain both immediate needs and long-term impact.

As our funding base grows, IFBAA will expand its presence on the ground. Our next phase will include the establishment of local IFBAA divisions in key U.S. cities, providing a tangible network for coordination, cultural exchange, and community service. We will also develop a digital membership registry and identification system to unify members across regions and track engagement within the fellowship. Action is not possible without investment and these early investments in structure will ensure that every dollar raised translates into visible, measurable progress.

Why it matters

Our programs are more than projects. They are acts of restoration. Each dollar raised, each partnership formed, and each chapter built strengthens the bridge between African Americans and the global African community. By pooling our collective resources, we move closer to true self-determination. Together we can fund our own ideas, tell our own stories, and shape our own future.
