Visit Africa

Imagine walking the streets of Dakar, exploring the wildlife of Kenya, or discovering the history of Ghana’s castles. Enjoy experiences that go beyond tourism to create lasting connections with the people, culture, and stories of Africa. Our Visit Africa program is designed to give Americans the opportunity to immerse themselves in the continent, deepen cultural understanding, and strengthen ties between communities across the diaspora.

Because travel can be expensive, participation in these trips is made possible through fundraising, sponsorships, and community support. Every donation helps make these experiences accessible to those who are committed to learning, growing, and bringing knowledge and inspiration back to their own communities.

Whether you’re a student, professional, or lifelong learner, this program is about more than sightseeing — it’s about engagement, education, and building relationships that endure long after the trip ends.

How You Can Get Involved:

Sponsor a Trip: Sent an email to info@ifbaa.com with "sponsor trip" in the subject line if you are interested in sponsoring a trip. Contribute to help make a journey possible for someone committed to learning and cultural exchange.

Join a Trip: When suitable funding is available, applications will open up to participate and embark on a transformative journey.

Your support helps create opportunities that connect communities across continents and ensure that every trip leaves a meaningful impact.

This is where our mission meets action. On day one, our goal is simple: to start listening, learning, and organizing. Our advocacy and outreach efforts will grow from the ground up driven by the community, for the community.
