“From the Americas to the Motherland One Struggle, One Future”

The International Fellowship of Black Americans and Africans believes that true empowerment, from the Americas to Zanzibar, begins with self-determination at home.

Today, Black people stand at a crossroads. Across the African Diaspora we are rising to reclaim control over our economies, education, and representation. Yet as global aid and development funding retract, essential programs around the world are being dismantled from HIV relief in South Africa to epidemic response in Uganda and beyond.

The world is shifting, and the safety nets we once relied upon are vanishing. As the United States pulls back its foreign aid under recent executive orders, the effects have been severe and far-reaching. The dismantling of USAID effectively eliminated up to 90% of American foreign aid contracts, crippling humanitarian efforts and destabilizing vital health and education programs particularly across Africa.

This void must be filled and we must fill it ourselves.

This moment echoes the call of Marcus Garvey: for African descendants everywhere to unite under one banner, to build for ourselves, and to depend on the strength of our own hands. His vision of a connected and empowered African world remains our mandate to control our economies, define our education, and restore pride in our identity.

Your voice strengthens this movement. Together, we link our people across the diaspora in the broader struggle for justice and liberation.

One purpose. One people. One future.
